Ygal Cohen
President & CEO, Founding, Managing Partner
Executive Board Member & Senior Portfolio Manager
Ygal Cohen founded ASG Capital in July 2008 in Miami, USA. Before founding ASG Capital, Ygal spent over twelve years working for various Wall Street firms including Prudential-Wachovia Securities, as a Director-Investments, and Jefferies Inc., as a Senior Vice President of Investments. Ygal was in charge of a Sales Trading department specialized in Preferred Securities, Subordinated Debt and Hybrid Corporate Bonds, operating in close collaboration with international bank Syndicate and Trading Desks. His professional activity focused on providing investment advice on Fixed Income strategies to Institutional clients, mostly based in Europe. His clients included Pension Funds, Family Offices, Private Banks and High Net Worth Individuals.
Ygal has a Master’s Degree in Finance from Dauphine University, in Paris, France.
Married with 2 children. He is passionate about Golf & Tennis.
Steven Groslin
Executive Board Member & Senior Portfolio Manager
Steven Groslin Joined ASG Capital in January 2014. Prior to this, Steven spent over thirteen years trading Fixed Income for the Natixis Group in Paris. Before joining Natixis Steven worked for six years in Fixed Income lending in Paris and five years in Retail Banking in France and the UK.
Steven Groslin has a Bachelor Degree in European Accounting and Finance from Leeds Metropolitan University (UK) and LeHavre/Caen Business School (France).
Fabien Tabouret

Buy Side Analyst
Fabien Tabouret joined ASG Capital in October 2019.
Born in Berlin and raised in Djibouti before coming to France, Fabien has always sought to pursue an international career.
For eight years he has worked in various accounting positions within large shipping groups such as Eltvedt & O’Sullivan, Unilex Maritime and CMA-CGM and has exercised his professional activities in Europe and Africa.
Fabien has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Salon-de-Provence school and has passed the Series 65 Exam. He speaks fluently English, French and Italian.

Caroline Sebaoun-Cohen
Investor Relations & Marketing
Caroline joined ASG Capital in October 2016 as in charge of International Business Development.
Prior to ASG, Caroline worked over six years at Jade Associates, a US CPA Firm based in Miami, in charge of Accounting and Taxes for Individuals and International Corporations.
Caroline has a Bachelor Degree in French Accounting and Finance in Paris, France (DECF), studying at Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et d’Expertise Comptable (CPA AND FINANCE SCHOOL).
Carlos Mahecha
Offshore Business Development & Distribution
Mr. Mahecha joined ASG Capital to help with offshore business development and distribution. He has extensive experience in distributing offshore mutual funds for the past 17 years through institutional and advisor channels. First with Eaton Vance Distributors and Fidelity Investments. Most recently in 2020 moved to become a Managing Director at Paradigm Capital International where he continues to serve the Investment needs of non-US Clients.
Carlos holds a Master of International Business from The University of Melbourne, Australia, a postgraduate degree in Finance, from Los Andes University in Bogota, Colombia. He also holds Life and Health Insurance, as well as Series 7, 63, and 65, and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

Legal Counsel for ASG Capital & ASG Funds
Labranche Law is a seasoned business law firm based out of Los Angeles, California, specialized in assisting issuers, underwriters, investment banks and investors in public and private offerings, compliance requirements and statutory exemptions from, federal and state securities laws and other securities related transactions.
Steven Thomas
Chief Compliance Consultant
Steve was for 8 years the Chief Compliance Examiner for the South Dakota State Securities Division and was for 4 years Director of Compliance Services for RIA in a Box / Lexington Compliance. SGL Financial, LLC lured Steve away from Lexington in July of 2014 to provide Chief Compliance and Chief Operations Officer duties. Mr. Thomas now also provides dedicated and specialized compliance services to a limited number of state and SEC registered investment advisory firms through Thomas RIA Compliance, LLC. As a state regulator and compliance consultant Mr. Thomas conducted over 450 office compliance audits including routine and for cause investigations. Steve’s diversified background as a securities salesperson, state securities regulator, RIA chief compliance officer and compliance consultant allow me to provide compliance and business operations guidance from a unique perspective.

Jean-Marie Bettinger
Non-Executive Board Member & Strategic Advisor
Since several years, Jean-Marie is an AIFM & ASG Dynamic Income Fund UCITS Board Member and a Strategic Advisor for Private Equity firms.
Prior to that, he exercised his expertise for multiple companies such as Ocorian Group, IQ E S.A or Experta Corporate & Trust Services S.A.
Jean-Marie is married with 4 children, speaks fluently French, English and German. He has a Master’s Degree in Private Law from the University of Metz, France and is based in Luxembourg.
